Most of the people we find living on the streets have some sort of addiction. Mostly “Nyaope”. Nyaope is a street drug, that consists of a cocktail with illegal drugs, consisting of bad heroin and Marijuana “dagga” as main ingredients.
Some additional ingredients to the cocktails may also include rat poison, cleaning detergents and ARV’s (antiretroviral medicines for HIV/ AIDS) depending on what they can find.

We have formed partnerships with various drug rehabilitation centres and we believe that to truly help our homeless friends getting back on their feet, they need to go through a programme of no less than 6 months, preferably 12 months.

However these programmes are not free and can become expensive.
We have seen that by various people contributing as little as R100 per month over a 6 – 12 month period, we can change a life.  Ie. 30 x R100 = R3000 per month, for 12 months.

If you want to be part of this please let us know!
